Infant baptisms or Christenings are an integral part of Christianity. Many parents follow a particular ceremony called a rite or liturgy. In a traditional ceremony, parents or the godparents take their child to the church's priest or minister. The child is then baptised or christened either by total immersion or by pouring water or sprinkling water on the infants forehead.
Most parents and godparents choose to dress the baby in a white gown called a christening gown for the ceremony. Traditionally a christening gown is white and becomes a treasured keepsake and handed down from generation to generation.
Our range of christening gifts are idea for a boy and gifts for girls and can be kept as a keepsake.
